E-Bike Ready 25 - Do you need special tyres for e-bikes?
For normal pedelecs with pedal support up to 25 km/h, no special tyres are prescribed by law. But even with these wheels, loads and average speeds are higher than with normal wheels, which is why Schwalbe only recommends certain tyres as "e-bike ready 25".
