The lightweight Inmold Fullface helmet RUPI is made for children and weighs only 385 grams. The removable chin bar makes the helmet particularly flexible to use. "Rupicapra rupicapra" means in German: "Gämse". These are the namesake for the new children's bike helmet and climb without effort through terrain by unsereins would rope up. They are even faster downhill. With the RUPI ambitious kids are not as sure-footed as the chamois sure-footed, but: a lot better protected! The Ceramic Shell, in conjunction with the Hi-EPS core, ensures that forces can be absorbed in the event of a fall. The Run System ensures that the helmet fits perfectly, because only then is the best possible protection available. Since good ventilation is also essential downhill, the Rupi has 15 vents.

Ceramic Shell
All helmets from Alpina that are manufactured using the Inmold process receive a robust Ceramic Shell. In this process, a polycarbonate plate is stretched to the shape of the subsequent helmet under intense heat and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body at high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic Shell is characterized by several qualities at once: It is break- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.

Hi-EPS
The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopic air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet during an impact. Hi-EPS ensures optimum protection while allowing extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes.

Inmold
In the Inmold production process, the helmet upper shell made of polycarbonate is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under high heat and strong pressure. This creates a large-area and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shells. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
