Orbea Gain: for better rides
With the Orbea Gain, your ambitious rides over asphalt will be better, more relaxed and richer experiences because you will be able to focus on the beautiful things about road cycling and racking up miles. Orbea has implemented the guiding principle of Enough Power in this e-bike, so you always get exactly as much support as you need. The result is an extremely light, sporty and agile e-road bike with which you will easily master all the challenges of the roads.
The D30 version of the Gain has an aluminium frame with a carbon fork and is equipped with a 2x11 105 groupset from Shimano which, with its reliability and precision, is a solid choice for ambitious road bike fans.
The heart: E-Bikemotion X35 Plus with PAS sensor
The key to the Enough Power concept is the rear hub motor drive system. This is tuned to give you reliable and smooth pedalling assistance at different levels, supporting your ride without dominating it. And if you want to turn off the engine for stretches and rely completely on your muscle power, you won’t feel like the engine is pulling along or interfering with your momentum. The pedal sensor in the locking ring of the cassette (PAS) is paired with a sophisticated algorithm that simulates the torque so that the power you apply to the pedal is optimally supported. So you save energy when you pedal and always get enough support.
An unobtrusive, integrated battery
The Gain does away with a bulky battery unit with an exaggeratedly high capacity and only gives you as much battery power as you actually need for sporty rides. That’s why Orbea has made the battery as small, light and discreet as possible.
A clean look thanks to ICR PLUS and an integrated cover
Via the OC-integrated stem, all cables, hoses and wires are completely routed in the frame, which ensures a tidy appearance. This also eliminates additional friction and annoying rattling on the frame. There is only one external cable connection, namely to allow the removal of the rear wheel. This cable runs tightly under the chainstay and is hidden behind an inconspicuous protective screen. The battery socket under the bottom bracket is also almost invisible. All this shows how much attention Orbea has paid to every little detail.
Everything under control via iWoc ONE & display
The control centre of the Gain consists of a discreet button, which is elegantly integrated into the top tube, and the bike computer on the stem. Via the iWoc ONE interface, you can control the system and have an overview of all relevant data such as motor support and range.
Safely on your way at night, too
Due to the fully integrated lighting system, you can even start before sunrise or enjoy your after-work circuit when the nights get longer without worrying about visibility. You have the option of switching from continuous light to the high beam for long journeys in the countryside.

Alcance
