The Zipp 303 wheelset is the first carbon wheelset to win Paris Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders. It is a very high quality model for performance-oriented and versatile competitors. This 45 mm high, lightweight, stiff and aerodynamic wheelset combines the incredible efficiency of carbon with Firecrest technology (a special torus-shaped profile) and is suitable for mountain, flat and sprint courses, making it the ultimate weapon for competitions with different profiles.
A tubeless configuration allows you to reduce tire pressure for more comfort while reducing the risk of punctures during your bike ride. Thanks to the improved grip in corners and the lower rolling resistance, you can gain crucial seconds. Since no tube interacts with the tire, this system causes less friction, which reduces rolling resistance.
This version is offered with the new 77/177D hubs, which offer improved lateral and torsional stiffness and lower weight thanks to optimized flanges and a Sapim CX Sprint lacing with counter-rotating spokes. In addition, Zipp has removed the adjustment nuts for the preload of the bearings, which often had to be readjusted. The wheels have more ergonomic quick release skewers and are equipped with adapters that can be mounted without tools, making them compatible with 15x100 mm and 12x100 mm axles in front and 12x142 mm and 12x135 mm axles in the rear.
