The weight-optimised 611 Ergowave active Carbon has been precisely matched to off-road needs and perfected to meet the requirements for all-mountain and enduro. At 225 g, the 611 Ergowave Active Carbon is the lightest 611 Ergowave model with integrated Active technology. The saddle - with its wave-like shape and raised rear - provides a perfect rear hold and an optimal pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body. Meaning, the power transmission to the pedal is considerably improved. The deeper nose combined with the deepening in the middle creates more room and free space for the dam area.
For even better pressure relief, especially on longer climbs in the terrain, the saddle nose of the 611 was designed approx. 4 mm wider compared to the 612 (but just as flat and with the largest possible contact surface). The padding material has been specially adapted to the requirements of mountain biking and offers more damping in rough terrain than the 612 Ergowave models. High-quality Kevlar cover protects the most stressed parts of the saddle. With SQlab Active saddle technology, the saddle follows the pedal movement, comfort increases, the intervertebral discs are mobilised and the pressure on the seat bones is minimised.

The Active saddle allows a physiologically correct pelvis movement in horizontal plane, which relieves the intervertebral discs and minimises the pressure on the seat bones. When mounting, make sure that the clamping device of your seat post is compatible with high oval struts
