Bumpy stone fields, gnarly roots and steep, technical climbs - the brand new Trance X 29 is designed for those who look forward to the toughest trail sections the most. With more travel and adjustable geometry, this bike is always on the hunt for challenging singletrack fun.
This brand new 29er has one mission above all: to help you tackle the toughest trails faster and with more flow. To do this, it has a stable and stiff aluminium frame with 29-inch specific geometry and a rich suspension with a new, improved set-up. The Maestro rear triangle now offers 135 mm of active travel, which perfectly matches the 150 mm suspension fork. The Advanced Forged carbon bellcrank has a flip-chip that allows you to adjust the geometry to best suit your riding style and terrain. You can set a steeper/flatter steering and seat angle and at the same time adjust the bottom bracket drop to 30 mm or 40 mm. The whole bike is perfectly matched to its 29" wheels and offers plenty of tyre clearance (up to 2.5") so you can enjoy maximum grip on rugged trails.
29er for confidence and control
29-inch wheels roll very balanced and stable even in rough terrain. This means you take more momentum uphill and gain confidence to let the bike fly on fast, rough single trails. Thanks to increased tyre clearance, the frame accepts tyres up to 2.5 inches wide.
Progressive suspension
The new Maestro rear end features a Trunnion shock mount that allows for more travel and improved responsiveness. You have 135 mm of travel at the rear (and 150 mm at the front), and you can also adjust the geometry in two positions via Flip Chip. The "Advanced Forced" bell crank provides more stiffness and stability while reducing weight.
Adjustable frame geometry
The lightweight aluminium frame has an adjustable geometry with a steering angle of 66.2 degrees or 65.5 degrees and a seat angle of 77.9 degrees or 77.2 degrees. Depending on the setting, this results in a bottom bracket drop of 30 mm or 40 mm. This allows the bike to be perfectly tuned for fast-paced trail fun
