In developing this jersey, the Castelli team focused on light weight for climbing and good cooling properties for hot days. So THE jersey for the Tour de France, if there ever will be. Since Castelli didn't want to leave aerodynamics completely out of the equation, they used a cut similar to that of aero jerseys that they knew were extremely streamlined. The resulting jersey is exceptionally airy, lightweight and immediately became the pros' new favourite jersey. Castelli were somewhat surprised by the wind tunnel tests. This extra-light jersey achieved practically the same values as the aero jerseys. So when asked again if you prefer the best aerodynamics or light weight, just answer: "Both please".
