Super Record Ergopower shift/brake handle: New mechanical levers Ergopower Super Record 12x2 Speed Rim Brake: ergonomics, comfort, control, precision. The new Ergopower Super Record 12x2 Speed Rim Brake mechanical levers offer an important new feature: two brake lever positions for optimum adjustment of the distance between lever and handlebar to the driver's hand. This is possible without compromising braking safety, as the new tilt of the upshift lever avoids any contact with the handlebar curvature. The lever position is easily and safely adjusted by direct actuation of the controls. The new Vari-Cushion technology improves the contact surface and enables an ergonomic, comfortable and secure grip, ideal for those who sit longer on the saddle. The interior of the shift levers contains a concentration of technology and experience, based on the "one lever-one action" function, which assigns a function to each lever and thus avoids shifting errors during fatigue or hectic phases. Also worth mentioning is the optional shift step with Ultra Shift mechanism, which can be used to shift up 3 sprockets and down up to 5. The double curvature of the new Super Record 12x2 Speed Rim Brake improves grip and safety. Comfortable support - Vari-Cushion: The shift handles provide a firm and secure hold in the standing or higher handlebar position. Fast shifting: The immediate engagement of the gears allows the front derailleurs to be operated with minimal effort in all handlebar positions. Multiple gearshifting - Ultra-Shift: An unforeseen gradient, a sudden spurt: the shift jump quickly finds the right gear. Ergonomics: Thanks to the contoured support and possible reach settings, the levers adapt to all cyclists, regardless of their hand or finger size. Double curvature of the brake lever: maximum safety when operating in any position: both on the handlebar curvature and on the levers. Campagnolo calipers: powerful, flexible and reliable. Thanks to their 22 mm diameter pistons, Campagnolo flat-mount calipers provide a powerful and easily adjustable braking force at all times. The pads are reset by the magnetic system without friction when the brake lever is released. A special metal plate between the brake pad and the caliper piston dampens vibrations during braking. The various Campagnolo caliper models can be fitted with the disc selected by the user and meet the highest performance requirements: in addition to the specific 160 mm diameter front caliper, rear calipers are also available for 160 or 140 mm diameter discs. Particular attention has also been paid to facilitating maintenance and assembly work: the brake pads, equipped with a wear indicator, are easy to replace as they do not require return springs. The focus has also been on fitting the disc to the brake calliper to simplify and speed up wheel changes.
